Hello, I am Chirag and I'm a travelpreneur, solo traveller and a travel vlogger.

I am an Engineer by qualification and worked in IT, Automobile and training sector for few years of my life. But finally, I left all that I knew and jumped to pursue my passion which is of travelling. I plunge into the travel sector and started a travel business which can help me to earn bread and butter as well as travel tickets for me and my family. I travel extensively and love to explore the places, learn about the culture, try local food and above all I love to meet and talk to native people where ever I go. Though I do a lot of research about the place I visit, but nothing is like a human touch and no one can better introduce the place and culture than native people.

During my journey, I have met so many people and learned numerous things from them as well as shared my experience as well and it has always been great experience till now. Some of the amazing people I met have really changed my perception and life too. I am thankful to everyone with whom I met and with whom I am going to meet in the future.

So I am on my way to read more and more pages of the book called world, and without meeting different people it's impossible to understand and decode the language of the book called "World".

I don't just stop here, I believe "knowledge increases with sharing" and I love to share my knowledge and so I started shooting my journey in camera and started my youtube channel. Through my videos, I try to share my knowledge, experience, dos and don'ts about the places I visit and make it easier for others who wish to travel there as well as for those also who like to get acquainted the place without visiting.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

As I said I am on my journey to read all the pages of the book called "World" and while reading the book I would like to meet new people related to each page and learn more from them. Also would love to meet different people from different walks of life, different places and learn from them their experiences. Each and every person in this world have some story to share and travellers have a collection of stories, so I want to listen to so many such stories as well as share my stories with like-minded people.

So finally I'm on Couchsurfing for searching like minded people who can help me to know their place and also can host me so as to make my journey even more beautiful. Also, I would like to share my knowledge and experience and help others to whom I can.

As of now, I am not in a position of hosting guest because right now my house is very small and I live with my wife, daughter and parents and my house can barely accommodate all of us so its not possible to accommodate any host. But soon I have a desire to go for a little bigger house so even I can host people visiting my city.

Music, Movies, and Books

I am a music lover and also Guitarist, Had also formed a band in past, but now guitar is just a hobby which I pursue with my loneliness. I listen to many kinds of music Indian retro, New bollywood songs, Western classical, Rock, Arabic, selected folk music, but music that turns me on which I can listen continuously is Indian Old songs from 1950s to 1990s.

I love reading books and have a small library at home and I continuously increase my book collection

I love watching movies too. I mostly watch Bollywood and Hollywood movies but also love to watch old Chinese kung fu movies.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can definitely share lot of insights from my own experience and research. I feel knowledge and wisdom increases with sharing and teaching others and thats what I love to do. To share my knowledge to mass, I have started a YouTube channel which can help lot of traveller to make their journey easier, rejoicing and memorable as well as answers lot of their questions.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Amazing travel stories and different cultural information based on my experience and Journey so far. I can also cook Indian food (only Indian food but good taste guaranteed), help in cleaning and organising things at home. If you have a guitar at home we can also do some jamming and sing amazing songs with Guitar.
