ABOUT ME
Busy FL girl who can help you when in a bind.
Grew up in Florida, left for 8+ years to escape and attend school, moved back to Orlando to be close to my dad who happens to be my entire family. I realize Orlando is not all that exciting, but the weather is rather nice most of the time, and cost of living is minimal enough that I can travel more leisurely. I have been a world travler since age 6 with no plans on backing off. I enjoy visiting friends in picturesque, culturally saturated locale's I have not been to. I'm interested all sorts of travel whether it be more adventurous, historical, or relaxing - Growing up in cultrally depleted central Florida leaves me craving for something more exotic and substantial. Okay, what else am I willing to tell here? I particulary like trying to recreate foreign/ethnic meals that I have along my travels so that I can take that home with me. I'm a bit of a health enthusiast, but I'm not finatical. I'm supposed to tell you all about myself which is a little too generic of a request not to mention terribly awkward. You'll see me how you want to see me anyway. It sounds like I have given you more than enough to go on although I suppose I should get this out now - I'm fairly goofy which partially explains my scarred up knees, and often overly talkative if you did not pick up on that however, I have calmed down quite a bit over the past couple years (tradgedy will do that to you) which in turn has quieted me down significantly.
PHILOSOPHY
To thine own self be true.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I offer my sofa occasionally, or can meet up with, have a meal and show you around. You can tell me your stories and I can make eating and nightlife rec's for you if interested. I have had some trouble with a CSer in the past, and now request meeting in person before inviting you into my home, so if I say yes to host you, please have back up in case I suspect a possible problem and change my mind.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
NB: Basically, if you just signed up and have never hosted before, it is unlikely that I will allow you to stay with me until you have some good references. I will happily meet up for a drink or a meal if you like instead. If you want to request to surf anyway, please tell me about how you plan to contribute to the CS community and I will consider per individual.
***ALSO *** Please don't send me random emails in a manner which one may normally use sites such as match.com or myspace.com .... these sorts of emails are a nuisance. Perhaps you may want to join a group and make 'friends' with other CS'ers that way which is less intrusive.

I should mention the movies of my childhood, The Rocky series and of course First Blood (thanks Dad) Star Wars & Raiders of the Lost Ark -- these are not in any particular order, and there's much more I am certain I neglected to mention. These were the first to come to mind. Ridiculous that I have had that much spare time to have seen all of these multiple times especially since I don't have any spare time.

Here are a few that stick out: The Great Gasby, Catcher in the Rye, Fightclub, Choke, Survivor - (guess it would have been easier to just say I like Chuck Palahniuk's work) - A Clockwork Orange, Rumble Fish - actually all the S.E. Hinton stories, Watership Down, The Iliad, Poetics, Trainspotting, Margarettown, Me Talk Pretty One Day (anything David Sedaris is hilarious!), and a must read for everyone: In Me Own Words - The Autobigraphy of Bigfoot.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
At age 12, I smuggled a tiny bunny from China to Japan in my coat pocket.
I wanted to say something along the lines of the half marathon I just ran, or one of the triathalon's, but after reading a few other profiles, my athletic accomplishments seemed minuscule. There are some fantastic athletes listed here. Bravo, I am impressed!
