About Me
CURRENT MISSION
More life! More love! More connection!
I’m on a mission to experience the richness of heaven on earth and I invite you to join me.
ABOUT ME
My full name translates to: Lively Woman - Watched Over By God - Who Fears Has Nothing to Fear
And that’s it. That’s my Ted Talk.
Hi I’m Vivian 🙂
I’m kind of like that drink you used to make as a kid where you’d put a little bit of each soda dispenser into your cup.
I’m a sociologist turned teacher, turned operations exec, turned marketing tech educator with alotta bit of Aunty vibes and a strong affinity for all things nature, rough, eclectic, music, and inspiring. I like to create abundance where ever I go, whether it’s an abundance of laughter, experiences, or spirit. It’s just what I’ve done all my life.
My favorite part of life is being multidimensional. I’m some parts academic and other parts free thinker; some parts revolutionary and other parts peace bringer; I’m rarely ever one thing at a time, but always a jumble of things that joyfully make me, ME.
Currently, I’m on a mission to go after what makes me feel alive. Which included leaving everything I was familiar with in Texas and launching myself into a new life as I moved West. I camped through tons of national parks from the Rocky Mountains, to Arches National Park, to Sequoia National Park. If there were trees, then I wanted to be there. Currently, I live nomadically as I work remotely for a tech company.
If we meet, I won’t consider it a coincidence, but simply a beautiful synchronicity.
I hope to connect with you soon!
PHILOSOPHY
Go after what makes you feel alive.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Interests
Over the last 2 years I've spent time hiking through national parks, reading books in my kindle, making bomb ass new meals, taking walks and cuddling with my service dog, Xena, learning about email marketing, moving my body in anyway possible, studying indigenous birth work practices, trying all the new fruits I can find, and telling my mom she’s super cute over FaceTime because she is in fact super cute.
Music, Movies, and Books
Books: I love to read. Hand me anything. I'm a huge fan of historical fiction, sci-Fi, fantasy and memoirs. I’m also a sucker for a good love story too.
Music: I’ve found myself drawn to a lot of indigenous music, funk music, Afrobeats, chanting, jazz, and instrumentals. I also love anything with a jumpin beat.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I craved isolation in 2021 so I booked a flight to Costa Rica and my dog and I spent 2 weeks in a remote cabin in the middle of the jungle.
In 2018 I traveled to every continent except Antartica. \
I spent a few nights camping in the Sahara desert.
In 2019 I took 19 road trips.
Teach, Learn, Share
I wrote this in 2012 and it still stands true:
I can spot a bs-er from a mile away. I love to learn from honest people and people who can back up what they say. I love a genuine display of emotion and people who have opinions about what's goin on the world as opposed to those who repeat back news like a parrot. Tell me something I've never heard before, and if I've heard it tell me it in a different way.
