Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To keep on fighting against corruption to help lift people out of poverty
ABOUT ME
To complete my degree in International and European Law, I went to Mexico, where I did an internship for an anti-corruption non-governmental organisation (Transparency International Mexico). I stayed an extra year to work for them and enjoyed a great country and wonderful people. It was an amazing experience on every level, and it’s reinforced my belief that meeting new people and discovering new cultures is invaluable for learning. It allows you to see things in a different way and to realise that nothing is absolute.
I’ve come to London to improve my English and volunteer in an NGO, fighting against corruption and poverty. I’m very passionate about this and it’s one of my biggest dreams in life to have a positive impact on poverty. I’m currently doing an internship with Global Witness in London.
My other dreams are to have a little house in the mountains and to travel as much as possible as I love meeting new people and learning new languages. Then, I’m planning to go to Beijing to reinforce my Chinese (I’ve learnt it at High School and I’m retaking it this year and travelled to Beijing many years ago!) and to learn about their culture.
PHILOSOPHY
As Oscar Wild said: "La sagesse c'est d'avoir des rêves suffisamment grand pour ne pas les perdre de vue lorsqu'on les poursuit"...
To help people abused by their kleptocratic governments.
