Overview
About Me
I am a human rights activisit in various youth NGO's, plus I am an enthusiastic eurocrat working in Bruxelles. I have been fascinated by travelling and volunteering to a degree that I did it in my home country, whithin Europe or Overseas. During my highschool I volunteerd for local organizations which aimed to integrate children from disadvantaged backgrounds by organising interactive summer camps and after school programs with them. This opportunity taught me to adapt in a children working enviorement and on the same time I learnt how to communicate and work within a team. The summer camps were organized with English volunteers, therefore I had the chance to increase my english level and meet people from a different culture. Volunteering drive me to study abroad in where to I had to interact and adapt in a multicultural setting. During my uni I have volunteered in local footbal compatetions and different other organizations with which I went in seminars in some European countries.Being open minded and with a high dose of curiosity I decided to go to Shanghai for my internship period and work in the human resources department at a respectable trading corporation. In here I have been culturally shocked pushed to learn fast the tasks I was hired for and I realized that I have proactive abilities.During my internship in Shanghai I have traveled in some countries in Asia for 3 weeks and later moved to Chengdu, the city of Pandas. In Chengdu I taught English for 2 months with children aging from 6 to 12. I have been pushed out of my comfort zone to teach English to kids that were not as exposed to the language as the Europeans. This experience gave me an insight of children psihology , methods of teaching,

Teach, Learn, Share
Just one thing: challenge yourself creatively as much and as consistently as possible. A simple way to do this is use interesting words instead of basic vocabulary. A complex way to do this is writing an 8-part fugue or painting a photorealistic portrait of an imaginary animal. Those things or anything in between there is great and will make you more fun to be around and a better overall person, not to mention more satisfied with yourself. Be a creator and a thinker and not just a receiver of sensory information. You can learn learn learn and regurgitate that shit all you want but true value and happiness lies in synthesizing, reapplying and pioneering, even if it's something silly.
