i grew up in seattle, washington in the u.s. i went to new york university and university of washington (seattle) for college, and currently tufts university (boston)for grad school as a phd student in literature. i've travelled to japan (tokyo and kobe) many times to visit my family. i love to meet new people and explore new places (of course!). i try to keep an open mind and heart. i love to go to live music shows, read, write, people watch, walk, eat out, hike, philosophize. i am interested in civil rights, human rights, poetry, literature, history, philosophy, social/political theory, music, social and political activism.
