Overview
About Me
I am a 23 year old university graduate from the sleepy town of Albany in Western Australia. My fiancé Luke Bracknell and I worked at Perths International Airport and decided to stop hearing about everyone else's amazing travels and start our own. We quit our jobs and are now backpacking as much of the world as possible before starting a 'real' career. We have been travelling South and Central America since May 2014 and are excited about moving into North America, if only to have a break from embarrassing ourselves with our average and heavily accented Spanish!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
We have managed to travel South and Central America staying mainly in hostels, but as we move North it seems that the hostels are both more expenisive and less numerous.
We both enjoy meeting new people and therefore don't want to stay in hotels, so we decided to register for couchsurfing and see who we can cross paths with along the way.
Interests
Travelling! Namely hiking, trying new foods with new people and not knowing where you will be in a weeks time.
Both myself and Luke love to scuba dive and jump on a dancefloor, and are always looking for new landscapes and experiences.
I have horses back home, and enjoy being around animals in general.
Reading and being a beach bum also rank highly in my interests list.

Music, Movies, and Books
I'm a fan of pretty much all music, depending on the mood. Both myself and Luke love music festivals and are happy with either having a good dance or relaxing to laid back tunes.
I am a mad Science-fiction/Fantasy reader, and can talk all things Dragons and magic for hours (but don't worry I wont, unless you also happen to like Steven Eriksons books)!
I'm not a huge movie buff, and so appreciate any decent recommendations to help ease the boredom of long bus rides.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Swam with pink river dolphins in the Amazon under the most amazing golden sunset- complete with a double rainbow!
What I Can Share with Hosts
Vegemite (while stocks last), a love of outdoor adventure and tequila (generally not together), and a love of cooking big hearty meals!
