I have grown up in a small mountain town for the majority of my life and can't wait to get out and experience the world! I am going to school to get a degree in MCB and hope to become a doctor. I played soccer throughout high school and was the Student Body President.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think it is impossible to learn about the world from a textbook so I have a burning desire to see as much as I can. But rather than just travel and experience the tourist aspect of every city, I want to see the more local side. I hope to meet people and experience various cultures.

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm really into alternative music and indie rock. The music on my iPod will range from My Chemical Romance to Ben Howard so I'm really into anything.
I love action/adventure movies as well as comedy. Some of my favorites are Inception, Looper, and The Heat.
I've strayed from reading for enjoyment because of school, but I love the Harry Potter series, the Alchemist, and A Lesson Before Dying.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Last summer I had the opportunity to travel to Phnom Pehn, Cambodia and volunteer in a home for boys and men with disabilities. It opened my eyes to how large the world is and how one person can only do so much to have an impact, but that doesn't mean it to not try.
