Hi ! I am Chloe, I just finished my studies of landscape architecture. I am travelling this year in Finland, working in farms and doing some road trips. I think it is a good country to reconnect with nature.

I like mostly climbing, cycling and everything about gardens and nature. I also love handicrafts and this year I have the time to improve it: drawing, sewing, knitting, eyc I like to learn more also!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

It can be usefull sometimes to find a place to sleep when nothing is happening. I am looking for volunteering and farming but I would visit as much as possible the country!

I think couchsurfing is also a great way to learn more people and the culture of the country I visit.
In a middle-term I would also invite people at home to share my knowledge about France.

Interests

I do a lot of climbing, indoors and outdoors. I climbed in Finland near Turku, but also in France in Fontainebleau, in the Pyreneens, in the Alps, etc. I am not so good but I love the sensation of nature and liberty in the sport.
I love also hiking in mountains or forests, I have the chance to have the opportunity to do some walk by profession to feel the space and look after evolutions of the landscape.

Music, Movies, and Books

In music, I am more into pop/rock english and french speaking music, like Supertramp, Radiohead, Louise Attaque, etc. I like discovering new musics and go to concerts !

My favourite international film is maybe Pretty Women. I like adventure, romance, drama,... The problem is that I oftently forget the film I saw...

I just finished "Les trois mousquetaires" from Alexandre Dumas, a traditional french adventure book and I loved it. I read different kinds of books : detective, adventure, historic, romance, life story,...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Going in a hike in Finland with very basic stuff for 2 days - 60km. An amazing experience!

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you how to shear a sheep or how to spin the wool ! Ok, I need you to have a sheep and a spinning wheel...
I can also make you a sourdough for you to make your own bread. And I know now how to knitt socks and crochet hats, if you have a command to do ;)

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share my smile with you, and try to cook you some dinner sometimes. I would like also to share some walk around, picking berries or enjoying the landscape.
