Hello! I'm Chloe, a 24 year-old British gal originally from the countryside but now living in London.

When I'm not travelling, I'm a copywriter/campaigner, working with charities to help them communicate with politicians or the public. It's a LOT of fun :)

But right now, my feet are itchy! I've embarked on a three month tour of Australia, the States and Canada and I'm desperate to meet locals and understand other ways of life. So if you could host me a few nights, or just meet up for a cider, I'd love to hear from you!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Travelling is one of my favourite things to do but having always stayed in hostels, I want to start experiencing countries with local people in local homes. I would love to stay with people who love to walk, eat, share books, talk about the sheer madness of Republicans, have impromptu Beatles sing-a-longs... anyone who could show me some local flavour and fun!

Well, where do I start... I love literature, anything by Zadie Smith, Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie, Salman Rushdie, Alice Munro et al.

Favourite films include Frances Ha, Back to the Future, Milk, Into the Wild, Thelma and Louise.

Music: anything live that I can bop or sing along to :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Conquered my fear of falling and heights by abseiling off the side of a 30m high waterfall in Vietnam.
