About Me

23 years old. Passionate about the world and humans encountered in it.

Eager to share a cup of tea, good food and host meaningful travelers! We have a huge garden and chickens - so fresh eggs for breakfast guaranteed. :-)

I was born and raised in Quebec, although I lived in Prince-Edward Island for a year and on the other island of Canada, Vancouver island, for two years. I graduated from Lester B. Pearson College UWC in 2015. I've studied in Montréal and lived in Italy and Australia for bits.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love traveling. I find it fascinating to see how humans adapt and shape their everyday lives. I think that one cannot fully understand a country without interacting with the locals and Couchsurfing provides this opportunity. Plus, hostels are not as friendly, fun and don't provide as much insights in one's country!

Music, Movies, and Books

Harmonium is a Quebecer progressive rock of the 70s which is simply wonderful to listen to in any occasion. I enjoy classic French books such as L'étranger (Camus), yoga and meditation texts or medicinal plants and herbs guidebooks.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I biked from Victoria to San Fransisco (USA) in 2014, from Victoria to Winnipeg (in Canada) in 2015, and most recently biked in Mongolia for three weeks (2019). Being on a bike and not having access to technology is a lifestyle full of basic uncertainties and unknowns that one tries to find answers to or fulfill on a daily basis: which field or forest will I find a cozy place to pitch my bivy sac? Will I be able to find a creek to fill my water? What will be the weather forecast tomorrow?

What I Can Share with Hosts

Place to stay; laundry; nice shower; company and of course, tips for getting around! :-)
