Hi! My name is Chloe. I’m from Australia and am currently fulfilling my dream of backpacking around Europe for 7 months. Ever since I was little, I would dream about going on a grand adventure and seeing all of the beautiful things the world has to offer, so after graduating high school (at an eco, sustainable school in Indonesia) I moved back to Australia to start working and saving up for this trip. Then in June 2022 I left everything behind with a one way plane ticket to Switzerland to finally do what I’ve always wanted to do! Travel!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

One of my favourite things about travelling is getting to know new people and learn about new cultures and that’s why I decided to try out couch surfing! 😊

Interests

I love to get outdoors in nature and be active, that’s where I feel most alive! I also love doing things that give me adrenaline, like skydiving and skiing.

I love to talk about the world and discuss things that change my mindset and broaden my mind.

I love music, and I play Irish music on the violin (I have Irish heritage).

I love learning new things and having new experiences all the time!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I volunteered with kids at an orphanage on the Indonesian island of Lombok to help with gardening, painting murals and teaching English!

I can share about my culture, and tell stories of my adventures backpacking solo around Europe and living in Indonesia, and cook some yummy vegetarian food 🌱
