Overview
About Me
After I graduated from university, I spent the year teaching English in a small city on the banks of the beautiful St. Lawrence River. Not only did this give me the most wonderful sunsets, it also made me appreciate what it is to be totally immersed in a different culture. Now I've moved to Norway to start my Master's and explore Europe!
I like to learn, discover, and be challenged :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Travelling with friends introduced me to Couchsurfing, and those experiences left me with the impression that good people are everywhere. As Blanche DuBois said in A Streetcar Named Desire, "I have always depended on the kindness of strangers." I'd like to pass it on, so here I am!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Wrote a postcard on top of a mountain in Switzerland ... :)
Teach, Learn, Share
I am driven by two main philosophies: know more today about the world than I knew yesterday and lessen the suffering of others. You'd be surprised how far that gets you.
— Neil DeGrasse Tyson
Yes, to dance beneath the diamond sky
With one hand waving free
Silhouetted by the sea
Circled by the circus sands
With all memory and fate
Driven deep beneath the waves
Let me forget about today until tomorrow.
— Bob Dylan, Mr. Tambourine Man
