About Me
Currently: Leaving my job to pursue French studies in Montreal.
I am easygoing, love to learn about people, different cultures and how things work. I like traveling, though I really haven't seen much. It takes me an average of a week to fall in love with a(ny) city and a day to decide I never want to leave an island.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm new to Couchsurfing but not a stranger to showing people around my city, or be shown around; I've been lucky. I've depended on friends in different countries, but I guess now I'm joining a community of would be friends all around the world! Yay to new travel opportunities!

Music, Movies, and Books
I love movies with great dialogues: Before Sunrise/Sunset, 12 Angry Men, His Girl Friday, A Streetcar Named Desire, All About Eve, Casablanca.
I love everything from SSLYBY, Belle and Sebastian; and Augustana for rainy mornings, and Lykke Li for warm weekend afternoons. I listen to anything, really.
Oscar Wilde is an author I always revisit and find to be even more fascinating each time. Currently reading Camus in French and English, and still trying to finish Anna Karenina and Madam Bovary. So many books to read, never enough time!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Standing in a light drizzle, paying respects to Oscar Wilde at Pere-Lachaise Cemetery.
Swam with turtles off a quiet bay of Redang Island, and there's a funny story to this. For now, I can tell you, green turtles are multiplying.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can help you into a headstand (hold your legs), teach you the wheel pose, share recipes and even cook you a meal. If you have thirty minutes, I can definitely show you a fail proof way to cook a creamy risotto every single time.
I love listening to people's stories, learning bits of languages here and there. Learning French, to play the guitar and to swim again is high on my list. But anything you're good at, I'd love for you to teach me!
What I Can Share with Hosts
A couch, a bottle of wine, and stories of the darnest things kids say!
