Overview
About Me
I am lucky enough to have the freedom to travel and for the third time I'm taking the opportunity to do it! My last trip around some of South East Asia was incredible and after a year back at home I felt it was time to pick up my backpack again and explore a new continent.
I am a friendly person and find it easy to meet new people. I enjoy talking to people and listening to their stories and am happy to just do that over a few glasses of wine for hours! I also think there is nothing nicer than experiencing things with others, whether it is simply a walk through town, a music gig or a tourist attraction. I love looking at views!
I am continually on a journey to learn more about myself as well as learning about the world and so far it's going pretty well! I enjoy the company of people from all different backgrounds, with all different ideas; I believe diversity is what makes us interesting and enjoy learning about people's different thoughts and ideas.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To meet people, share experiences and learn from each other. I really enjoy seeing different places and think it is great to see it from the perspective of a local; finding out about the people, the culture, the history and the food, especially the food!

Music, Movies, and Books
My taste in music varies from pop to rock and roll to acoustic to instrumental - it really depends on my mood. I'm one of those people who doesn't know names of songs/albums but I could probably sing most of the lyrics!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
At 19 I decided to go to Thailand on my own for 3 months. Yes, many many people travel alone so it may not be impressive, but that decision led me to experiencing the world in a totally different way and now I'm on my third trip. Although I never thought it was brave, looking back now I'm go glad that I took that first step!
