I grew up in Longmont, Colorado. I've lived in Boulder for the last six years. I love meeting new people and creating lasting connections. I am an extremely honest and caring person.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My travel bug has finally hit and I'm ready to experience some new and amazing venues. Many friends rave about traveling in this manner and I'm excited to see what it can do for me.

Interests

I enjoy most outdoor activities, and really love doing new things. I absolutely love horses and am constantly looking for ways to make them part of my every day life. I can also be very content doing a whole lot of nothing but I want my travels to be filled with adventure.

I love any and all Disney/ animated kids movies, Wayne's World, Braveheart, Legends of the Fall, Fight Club, A River Runs Through It, Mr. and Mrs. Smith, Titanic, Black Beauty, Pretty Woman, Ace Venture (When Nature Calls is best), Dumb and Dumber, Fantasia, Lord of the Rings, Silver Linings Playbook, and the list goes on.

Just started really reading again, I have recently read and loved Silence of the Lambs and Ender's Game.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have made many promises to many people. Most get broken, forgotten, ignored, changed, and put to the side. I have made the commitment to caring about myself enough to not break the promise of honesty. It's a promise to others but more than that it is a promise to myself. It's about being all of who you are and never feeling the need to conform or hide things from anyone. It means being open, sharing your truth, and sharing your feelings always. It is about not being afraid of what others will think or how you might be judged. It means allowing yourself to be the real you to the best of your abilities. It means a lot to me. To let people see the real me without a veil.

Teach, Learn, Share

I want to share really amazing conversations and quality time filled with stories and laughter. I want to share memories and create new ones. I want to share the love. Really though. I have a lot of love in my life and I have a lot of love to give.
I want to learn anything and everything. I think that all parts of life can be taken and used as learning experiences. I think that branching out and finding new adventures is one of the best ways to learn. I'm trying to learn a lot about myself by being in new situations and surrounded by new people.
