Currently in Japan. Kyoto until April 5th, then to Tokyo on the 7th. Hoping to hang out with people who are excited to share what they know about the area. Interested in biking, walking trails, art, food and live music.

I am a graduate from the Alberta College of Art & Design, living and working in Calgary, AB. Fortunate to have my employment align with my interests, I split my time between my role as an art facilitator and working for a sustainability focused waste management company (go compost!).

I live in Calgary, AB with my partner Tom, and our foster Kitty, Dusty Rose.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am interested in the global community of couchsurfing. It embodies a feeling of connection, and an ability to make people feel at home in the world. Not to mention its a low impact way to travel!

As a host I am hoping to share my house, conversation and hometown knowledge with travellers.

As a guest I am hoping to connect with folks with common interests, who are keen to share something (whether it is their time or their insight) about the place they reside. As a guest I can offer cooking and dishwashing skills, time for a board game and hopefully some laughs.
