I am currently living in Manchester, UK and I am a Secretary for KPMG which is a worldwide company whom I embarked on a 12 month apprenticeship with and completed 2 years ago. My job isn't the most exciting, so I won't go into much detail on that, but I do enjoy working there and spending time with the loveliest colleagues on a daily basis. My partner Josh (25) is a very good Barber, if I do say so myself!

We love travelling and everything about it, sightseeing, the cultural experience and of course meeting new people. We have travelled many destinations within our 5 years together and we love to share stories and experiences with others. We both love animals, especially our dogs. I have the cutest Staffordshire bull terrier, almost 14 years of age, and she is my baby. My dog means the absolute world to me (more than most humans haha!)

Upcoming journey - Myself and Josh are planning a road trip in the USA arriving in San Francisco on 01 June 2019. Where we will plan a route that will last 30 days, before continuing and heading up to Canada for 01 July. Whilst in Canada, we are hoping to have the opportunity to experience Couch Surfing.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

The Dream - As long as I can remember, I've wanted to migrate to Canada. Everything about it is pulling me in, the seasons, the cities, the people, the lifestyle, yet I've NEVER been! (I know, strange right) But this is why I'm on Couchsurfing, I'm hoping to meet and stay with some Canadians so I can get a real feel for the Country. We are both really interested and have lots of questions! I'm so excited to share stories, life experiences. fun-filled outings and just general chit chats!

Music, Movies, and Books

Music - I will listen to almost anything from the top 40, to old school R&B, reggae, rap but I will admit my love for the beautiful Marshall Mathers. My partner Josh is the same, except he likes some contemporary Jazz too, you wouldn't think it if you met us!
Movies - Horror's are my go to, although I probably won't sleep after watching one.
Books - I'm not a huge reader, but if I were to pick it would be something peculiar or something magical.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The most surreal experience of my life, was flying in a water aeroplane in Mauritius. I got really emotional spotting 5 whales, and then a mother with her baby. Then a group of wild dolphins, and sea turtles surfacing. All of this seen from the sky! and all of the colours of the water were just beautiful, it was truly a magical experience and hands down the best thing I've ever done.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'd love to share experiences of travelling with others, and learn about places I've never been. Promoting interest in the places where we have been too. It will be really useful, for us especially, to meet people who live in or originate from the Country we are hoping to migrate to in the future. It'd be great to be shown around your hometown and places of interest, and be given some top tips on where to go next!
