I was born in South Africa and moved to Australia when I was 8.

In my first summer break at uni I went travelling. It was a crazy whirlwind that was so eye opening it changed my life. I realised that you learn so much more from people and places than any school can teach you.

I lived/worked at a hostel for 4 years which was incredible. I loved meeting new people, exchanging stories, getting to know them and learning from them.
I love experiencing new cultures, I think it's one of the most amazing things we can do.

I spent 3 months on the Great Barrier Reef completing a dive internship. This was one of the most challenging but rewarding things I have ever done.

When I got into diving it changed my world. I want to experience as many different styles in as many different places as possible.
I love the water and I'm pretty sure I should have been born a mermaid!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think this is a really great way to meet like minded people. I know that you always get the best tips about a place from a local.
My favourite thing about traveling is learning about other cultures and the best way to do that is spending time with the people that live there.
