Like many users on here, I'm a young adult who loves to travel. I like being outside in the sun exploring the world around me and having as many new experiences as life will allow. I love taking my dogs hiking, hanging out on the rivers and lakes nearby, and going camping. Skiing in the winter is also a great pass time. There are plenty of fun reservoirs, trail heads around to spend the day at, as well as a few ski resorts close by in you’re into that.

I'm really flexible and easy going. When I go on a trip I prefer to just plan an outline and fill in the details as I go. When I'm out in the world on an adventure what I love most is meeting interesting people, trying new things, and learning about the local atmosphere and culture. CouchSurfing is a really great way to travel like that!

I want to see as much of the world as I can, and meet new people with different backgrounds. Experiencing new cultures broadens perspectives and leaves people openminded and ready to try new things. I don't need a fluffy white king size bed, or a spa, or a 24-hour gym to do that. All I need is a safe place to stay, a couch to sleep on and cool people to get to know.

Though my CouchSurfing profile is (relatively) new, hosting people from all backgrounds is not. Many friends and acquaintances from around the world have always been welcome at my home, and I would love to give others the chance to see Ogden, Utah as well.

Musik, Filme und Bücher

My favorite music includes bands like Hozier, K. Flay, Tegan and Sara, Kodaline, Brand New, Lumineers, Vance Joy, Bayside, Say Anything, Conor Oberst/Bright Eyes, Manchester Orchestra, Mumford and Sons, and City & Color.

I not picky when it comes to movies. A few of my top favorite are Submarine, Moonrise Kingdom (or any other Wes Anderson films), Slumdog Millionaire, and Anchorman. I also really loved Black Panther, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, and Wonder Woman.

Harry Potter is totally cliche, but also fantastic. Every once in a while I love re-reading the series and then binge watching all the movies. The Last Lecture is another book that really stuck with me. If you haven't heard of it I would definitely recommend. The Ethical Slut is another book I would recommend.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

Something I thought was amazing was backpacking through the Narrows at Zion's National Park in southern Utah. Not 'amazing' in the way that its something unique that I've accomplished - tons of people do the 16-mile hike through the slot canyon in southern Utah every year. Amazing in the way that every time you go around a curve the beauty takes your breath away.
I’ve also been skydiving, scuba diving, and ridden in a hot air balloon, which was really wonderful.
