About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I'm travelling around Western Sydney (where I also live), blogging about stuff to do there. Come hang: http://whereiswesternsydney.com

ABOUT ME

I'm all about creative arts, cultural engagement and community. I have an addiction to smelling books. I've somehow managed to make a living out of doing what I love and spend my days writing/reading (creative writing PhD) and organising epic events (mainly W'Gong Writers Fest atm) under various banners.

This is my baby (I lived, worked and studied in the Illawarra for the last five years):

PHILOSOPHY

As long as you're supporting yourself and don't intentionally harm others, do whatever you want m8.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Never couch surfed before!

Sick of Western Syd being left out of guidebooks. Harbour Bridge ain't that exciting. So I'm starting a blog about stuff to do in WS.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Started and built a not-for-profit organisation from the ground up? (Kind of) hitchhiked in Zimbabwe (dumb/amazing = subjective). Wrote a novella in 7 days. Threw out three books today (I'm moving house). Ah, I hate math but I also recently read Teju Cole's 'Every Day is for the Thief' (which is probably the reaaaal reason I'm couch surfing).

Teach, Learn, Share

How to vomit a novella?
