Hello! I'm a young historian researching and teaching at the University of Oxford. I work on 19th and 20th century Europe - and love learning about the continent through travel and conversation as much as through books. I've lived in France and Germany and have also written a series of travel books for kids.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I live in a three-girl house-share in lively East Oxford. We have a spare couch. We think it should be put to good use by hosting visitors - and introducing them to our world-famous city.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I'm an experienced traveller, but new to couchsurfing. My housemate Sophie, however, is an enthusiastic long-time couchsurfer.
