ABOUT ME
I am an artist and designer, although I do not make a living off of either. I love languages. I always try to live with intensity;; never waste a moment where you could be learning or creating something, or getting to know the wonderful people around you.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I'm new to this! I don't have any experience, although some of my close friends in D.C. were able to host couch surfers and I met some interesting people through them.
Interests
I love to sew. I am a purse designer and would like to eventually make bikinis and dresses as well. My grandma taught me how to sew; I taught myself how to design. I have various training in the arts: drawing, photography, painting, dance. I used to play the saxophone.
I love language; I speak Spanish, Portuguese, and English.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I took a year off after I graduated from high school. I decided to go to Ghana for two months and Guatemala for five months. I worked in orphanages in Ghana and a daycare center in Guatemala. The two experiences gave me a profound appreciation for love and generosity.
I went scuba diving and snorkeling in Belize. It was the second time I had seen life underwater--the first being in the chilly waters off of Catalina Island in Santa Barbara, CA. I was absolutely dazzled by the amazing world that I was all of the sudden a part of. The fish were colorful and full of life; the coral was unreal. It was like being in a fairytale. Since then, I have deep respect and appreciation for the underwater world many people never see.
