I got back from traveling for seven months just a few weeks ago and now I want to return the favor and host some people! I would say I'm a pretty down to earth person. I like the simple things in life like food, the arts, and a comfortable place to sleep. I lived in Paris for three months, so I can speak a bit of French, but I feel somewhat out of practice. I have worked in two hostels, and been an au pair while traveling.

Oh the usual reasons... I think meeting as many people on this earth is what will help you understand yourself better. So I would like to know as many people as possible and have some insight into their likes/dislikes/passions/dreams. I find humanity very interesting and I think we all have something to learn from each other. Also, having a home to stay in is always nice in comparison to a hostel bed :)

For movies, I can't even get into that because my father went to film school and I went to an arts school where I spent most of my time trying to watch all of the best films ever made. Lord of the Flies and Catcher in the Rye. Honestly ever since I was fifteen.

As I said before, I think just the company of new personalities and outlooks on life, are really interesting. I love to listen, and chat about anything. I can't promise anything special, but I can share my experience and stories from the past few months, and I can bake some pretty great desserts! (cookies are my specialty).
