About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Decouvrir plus de mon patrimoine Français..apprendre le langue Français, le couture et la musique, et exchange idees, inspiration et des metiers avec des gens partout le pays

ABOUT ME

I'm a small, sweet-natured, curly-haired english girl, with a touch of French about her, a big smile and alot to give the world.

see my interests for more of an insight...

This trip is a voyage of discover and learning for me...about many things important to me.
I am partly French but never learnt the language. this has always felt like something important i must do....so i'm here doing it.. While also learning about my heritage and culture through meeting wonderful people and experiencing the French way of life.

I'm into music, politics, sustainable living and crafts...and seek inspiration and the exchange of ideas and skills in these areas. I volunteer and work with with lots of environmental, human rights and community projects in England and want to experience and contribute to WWoofing, Help X, and community organised projects in France.

PHILOSOPHY

Un jour on m'a dit "If it's not fun it's not sustainable"
qui je trouve le conseil très relevant souvant.. Ca doit etre amusant aussi, apres tout!

Sharing is caring.

You get back the energy you put out there in the world.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am currently surfing around France. I participate by being the best guest I can, giving and sharing as well as receiving. Couchsurfing is a two way process, and it's not true that the host is the giver and the surfer as the receiver... Both have things to give, gain and learn from the experience.

to build the community I tell absolutely everyone I meet how amazing CS is, my positive experiences and all the things I've learnt from doing it...and that it's one of the best things I've ever done. When I return to England I will definitely hosting, returning some of the hospitality I've received and experiencing the another side of CS.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My voyage in France is my first experience of CS, and what an eye-opener it has been. I have surfed in Limoges, Bordeaux, Libourne, Toulouse, Montpellier et Paris.
It has blown me away and inspired me in terms of what is possible through the systems of giving, sharing and exchange without money. I think the economy of exchange and the economy of giving are key in creating the world we want. I am on mission to discover, participate and create other projects of exchange like CS.

it has also inspired me to see what wonderfulness is created when people have faith in strangers. a very important thing.
