Hi! I'm a New England transplant to the delightful environs of Montreal, Quebec. I work as a seamstress, dance teacher, and performer. In my life I have also been a chef, bike-mechanic, union rep, research assistant, and sailing instructor. Basically if there is a skill, I want to learn how to do it!

I grew up in a small town south of Boston, and I've lived in Montreal for the past decade. I love pretty much everything about Montreal excepts the potholes and the length of the winters.

I'm currently road tripping to avoid the harsh Montreal winter. It's been ages since I've traveled for an extended time or used couch surfing, and I'd love to try it again!

I'm down for pretty much everything expect rock climbing (afraid of heights)! I love trying new foods and new things, and just walking around for hours and exploring new places.

I'm a big fan of Chekhov, most magical realism, and Neil Gaiman. I really love to read, and one of my favourite things to do in a new city is to post up in a cafe on an off day and read for an afternoon, instead of sitting at home watching things on my laptop like I normally do in Montreal!
