About Me
CURRENT MISSION
to nurture the seeds that I have sown
ABOUT ME
I'm excited by the small wonders of everyday life, the universe, connections...I love the sea (where I've been living for the past 4 years) and am weirdly fascinated by the way people peel fruit and veg(?!) I don't drink to get drunk or party to pull (a pretty rare English bird, I know!)
PHILOSOPHY
Just be...in a zesty, lust-for-life way...love, learn, accept (that's my ambition anyway - some days this works better than others).
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I've had a few people come sailing with me and organised a few CS gatherings - all of which have been very interesting and rewarding experiences! I have yet to crash at someone else's pad.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Got lost on a motorbike amidst vietnamese hilltribes, sailed some of the seven seas, invited randomers to my pad for yoga sessions and brunches...it's all been very wholesome so far!
Interests
deep and meaningfuls, getting so immersed in something that I ponder it for months, sailing, dancing, diving, yoga, motorbike adventures (i'm a speed junkie), hammocks, jungles, really frothy coffee, roadtrips, people and water-watching, creating (and occasionally destroying)

Music, Movies, and Books
Anything that demands my whole-hearted attention!
Music is my widest narrow-mindedness (trance/techno/house seem to make me physically sick)...but love anything with a soulful, rockin, melancholic, joyful, kickass beat!
Love thought-provoking, soul-stirring yet quirky films.
I guess I'm a bit of an oldie when it comes to literature but will read a chapter of just about anything...Kahil Gibran, Oscar Wilde, the Brontes, Hemmingway, Orwell...Plath, Keats...
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
This section seems a little poncy, but among the more interesting-to-other-people-things I've done were living in a treehouse 150m above the jungle canopy, a rice-paddy in cambodia, a farm in Italy, sailing about half way around the world...but seeing someone smile or a bug walking up a tree has been just as soul-shaking (if not more) to me!
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm an 'Educator' who ardently supports the deschooling philosophy (so you could see me as someone who's changing things from the inside, or a hypocrite, depending on your point of view!). I'm happy to facilitate a little English learning, poco espanol, tik khmer, thai massage, how to make a box out of paper and many other usefully useless things.
Love sharing stimulating conversation (and equally silence), good food, nature...and maybe even a motorbike?!
Would like to learn anything anyone has the patience to teach me, but especially how to play the guitar, better Spanish and astronomy!
