ABOUT ME

I would say I am a laid back person. I love enjoying the moment I am in and getting to know new people. I love music of all kinds, art, the outdoors, of course traveling and experiencing new things and new cultures. I love being active. Doing yoga, hiking, climbing, anything outdoors or that keeps me on my feet. The last couple years I have been working an office job and I get so restless sitting at a desk all day! I am an adventure/adrenaline junkie and thrive on all the crazy things life throws at me.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe in rolling with the punches. Life is too short to cry over spilt milk.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I haven't had a permanent home in many years so I haven't been able to host. I have connected people with my parents who live in one of the most beautiful place on earth, Estes Park, CO. Nat Geo traveler even named it as one of the top 20 must see places of 2014!

So far, most of my participation has been through surfing.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I haven't been part of CS long but I have had some amazing experiences so far! I made a great friend in Iceland, by the way, if you are in need of inspiration for your next trip Iceland is the place to go. It has everything you could want and more!

Interessi

Of course travel is my passion in life! I love other cultures and just spending time being absorbed in them. I also love the outdoors and anything that has me enjoying nature and the sun! I love music, anything from folk to the 80's and 90's to classic rock and beyond. I find music sounds the best via vinyl and I have strange addictions to paper, journals and stationary and new paperback books.

Musica, film e libri

People who know me know I am beyond in love with the Beatles. I grew up with them. They are part of me. Some of my other tops include Iron & Wine, The Middle East, Laura Marling, Ramblin' Jack Elliot, and Bob Dylan.

I love all sorts of movies. Some of my favorites are Pulp Fiction, Lars and the Real Girl, Punch Drunk Love, and of course Princess Bride.

Currently I am attempting to read Moby Dick. I have also enjoyed Everything is Illuminated, The Virgin Suicides, The Bell Jar, White Oleander, and The Alchemist.
