About Me
I've decided a year ago to quit my job in an office and to travel : best decision ever.
uggling between my love for the nature my love for festivals, parties, outdoor activities, and my need to commit myself in social issues (struggle with asylum seekers, volunteering in feminist association,...).
I try as much as possible to have a healthy life : yoga, veggie healthy food, no sugar, sport, a lot of water, ... But I definitely can't say no for a beer, pastry, chocolate and comfort fat food.
I'm lucky I've still have this childish spirit which makes me so enthusiastic, easily impressed and happy with almost nothing. I tell to myself very frequently "It's ok I can die now, I'm so happy I lived this" (but for real I want to live like 300 years to learn, meet people and travel more and more and more).
I'm idealist, curious, easy-going, a bit messy (but not in someone's else place), very bad in administrative stuff... I love animals but I'm frightened by slugs, and I'm a very kind gentle sweet person (and I claim it as a quality, even if it sounds often like an insult haha).
If you want to know more about me, host me hehe ! Or come to my place when I'll have one !
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Even tho I haven't used my profile in years, I've hosted and been hosted by lots of people (friends of friends of friends, kind drivers whom pick me when I hitchhike...). I like to meet new people, I think everyone has a lot to share. And when you're travelling, it's always better to meet locals : you get to know more about the everyday life in the country, the social and political issues, the nice places to go,... . Also, I've already hosted many people when I was living in Brussels (friends of a friend of a friend) and I really enjoyed to show them the city, the bars... So when I'll be back from my journey it would be nice to do it more often thanks to this website.
Interests
I always find new hobbies and interests but I have some difficulties to get focused a long time on something. For example, I've already tried not one, not two, but seven instruments... and every year I promise myself that I would try again and don't give up this time (ha, ha).
I like to create stuff : crafts, mailart, drawing, vegetable painting, cuddy toys, natural cosmetics, tisanes... I enjoy listening to music, dancing, singing (even if many friends told me that I'm the worst singer they've ever heard - I don't care I LOVE to sing).
I recently started to practice the slackline and I love it !
I'm really interested in nature : to identify trees, flowers, mushrooms and animal footprints; astronomy; survival; birdsongs... I'm fascinated by ugly fishes, sharks, and whales. I could watch movies about the sealife during hours !

Music, Movies, and Books
Music : Any song which makes me feel something ! My favourite kinds of music to dance in parties and concerts are balkan music, ska, dub, dancehall, swing, rock'n roll baby... I also like a lot of "musique de la honte" (shameless music) as I call it : romanian and spanish commercial hits I used to listen during my erasmus in Romania, bollywood songs, 90's hits... And now I'm completly ease at and I say it loud : yes, I love Magic System !
The artists I listen the most for the moment are The Who, Hoba Hoba Spirit, Moriarty, Biga Ranx, Supertramp, Fauve, ... well the list is too long actually.
Movies : Arizona Dream, Howl's moving Castle, Adam's apple, Paprika, De helaasheid der dingen, American Psycho, Everything is Illuminated, Searching for Sugar Man, The secret of NIMH, La guerre est déclarée, Rumba, Snatch, Dogville, Eldorado... I looooove the movies from Hayao Miyazaki, all of them !

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Okay, this is the moment to tell a story great enough to give you this unbearable envy to meet me. Like : "oh I saved a baby panda once, then we parachute jumped together and we ended up at this party with Elvis Presley - yeah he is alive, you heard me". Sooo maybe I could tell you how I saved my sister's life TWICE, drunk beers with the coolest priest I've ever met, sang a hard-metal version of Britney Spears'songs in a karaoke and made run away all the crowd, walked three days with 400 Afghan asylum seekers to meet our (now ex-) Prime Minister, experienced sleep paralysis and its hallucinations... I'm easily marveled so I often think that a day was amazing !
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you my amazing fingers dance, french, many stories, how to cook delicious vegan food, some yoga positions, to swim (don't laugh, I already taught it to two friends who forgot how to do), to sew, how to huff in a didgeridoo (but not the circular breathing unfortunately), ...
I can also cut your hair, share with you all my dispersed knowledge about many and various subjects.
