About Me
CURRENT MISSION
My friend Pam and I are traveling through Mendoza and buenos Aires Argentina for 10 days and looking for interesting, fun experiences/people!
ABOUT ME
I'm pretty easy-going and love meeting new people. I was born in South Korea but I've went to schools in America (I went to boarding schools since my family stayed in Korea). I would say I've been independent since I was a child and I thought moving to America by myself at 12 and learning English and making friends were really exciting and not scary! But I've always been attracted to learning other cultures and meeting people from different back ground, so I started traveling to other places around the world.
I've lived in Nepal (volunteering for women's foundation where we rescued women from abusive relationships, fight for women's rights for freedom from domestic violence and ended the stay with 10 day vipassana medication where you can't speak, read or write and meditate for 10 hours a day- very cool experience) and Dublin, Ireland (interned at World Trade Center and traveled around Europe in Italy, France, Northern Ireland, and Netherlands). Now I'm working after graduating in Houston, but I will always find a way to travel and meet people from all over the world.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I think people who are willing to share their cultures with other people that they've never met is something so extraordinary. The trust and love that goes on couchsurfing has really positive vibe. That's why we want to meet people in Argentina!
Interests
Traveling, learning new cultures, trying new cuisines, biking, drinking wine, learning Spanish, volunteering, women's rights, pubs/bars/clubs, visiting galleries, buying paintings (commissioned my first art from an artist by Stephen's Green, Dublin!), visiting museums, going to music festivals.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Chilling on the roof of this cottage which was the highest point of the mountain Nagarkot in Nepal where you can see mountain Everest. We were so high up that we were in the middle of clouds with bats flying over our heads. It was one of the most beautiful scenes I've seen.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I have booked accommodations before starting the trip (so I don't need to stay with a host). But it would be really cool if we can meet up with other people who can show us their cultures and how great their country is!
