About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To see the world, learn French and meet new people.

ABOUT ME

The first thing you need to know is that I'm really (really!) active and am only in my element when I'm outside and ideally in the mountains. I value friendships greatly and am very close with my family. I want to learn as much as possible about the world, whilst I'm here, and what better way to do that than meeting people and making friends in as many countries as possible?!

PHILOSOPHY

To make the most of my life in every way possible. I try to be open minded, and have a go at new things.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My favourite moment couchsurfing was in Valencia. I went to a CS beach party, organised as a goodbye party for a guy who was off travelling for 2 years. I think around 40 couchsurfers from all over the world turned up, and we spent all night chilling together on the beach. It was just brilliant to hear so many people speaking in so many different languages and having a laugh together.

Interests

Sports I do: snowboarding, cycling, swimming, running and climbing. Just getting into mountaineering.

Also love: reading and writing (of course!), watching films, going to gigs and relaxing in a cafe.

Music, Movies, and Books

This would be an absolutely enormous list!!! So here is a snippet of my tastes...

I loved reading 'Honouring High Places - The Mountain Life of Junko Tabei' (a memoir of the life of a Japanese mountaineer, first woman to ascend the seven highest mountains in the world).

Just watched: 'Hunt for the Wilder People' and want to meet my own Ricky Baker one day!

Currently listening to this album on repeat: Bonobo - Fragments
