About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To live my life to it's fullest potential and offer as much back in return!

ABOUT ME

A close friend wrote this for me because I can't possibly write something about myself:

'You construct sentences and I will say nice things:

you have a clear love and thirst for life

your vibrant energy is infectious and I don't know anyone who doesn't appreciate it

you're kind and considerate to other's wishes and feelings

following the kind and considerate point, you're respectful of other's space and I personally think you improve it (you brought me flowers and made my kitchen smell beautiful)

you love sharing things with people

you have an incredible taste in music and art/culture and are open to learning about new things

you're easy to talk to and can always think of something to say that's worth listening to

and most of the time you smell okay

though it might be worth saying you'll probably end up cleaning their room for them :p '

Yup ^ - I always smell okay, don't mind my friend. :p

PHILOSOPHY

Love and cherish everyone - and if you can't meet everyone then love and cherish everyone you meet!

Honesty is the best policy, always.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have none yet - but I am willing to learn Sensei.

Interests

Music - I love playing it, mixing it, sharing it! (I've been performing and DJing since 2012!)
I study History of Art and English Literature so books and art are a big part of my life!
Regarding art, I'm particularly interested in art from the 1970s onwards, focusing on the East Village urban scene and expanding onto contemporary art - visual art - installation art!
I love meeting new people - observing them and having very nice conversations with them into the early morning hours!
Hiking, road trips and camping are also some of my favourite things to do.
I crave to get out of the city as fast as possible - be closer to nature.
ANYTHING THAT CAN OFFER ME A NEW EXPERIENCE OR TEACH ME SOMETHING I DON'T KNOW.
I also love cooking... and eating. Like a lot. I'm a pretty good cook so I promise to make you something wonderful if I am hosting you or even if you are hosting me! Gratitude is key! :)

Music, Movies, and Books

I'll pretty much watch anything anybody recommends unless it's some blockbuster movie!

Music: Radiohead, Tricky, Portishead, Massive Attack, Gil-Scott Heron, Connan Mockasin, Beach House, Iron & Wine, Nick Drake (recently), Yeah Yeah Yeahs, The Kills, James Blake, Fever Ray, Nine Inch Nails, Nicolas Jaar, Slowdive, Moby, Warpaint.. etc. Pretty much anything that's recommended I will give it a listen.

Books: Marquis de Sade, Voltaire, David Foster Wallace, Anais Nin, Kurt Vonnegut, Jean-Paul Satre + LOTS more due to my course.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I once cliff dropped into a river which was pretty awesome - got my adrenaline going!

I went with my parents (when I was very young) to the peninsula of South Africa.

WHALE WATCHING.

Whilst on an adventure trip with some friends, we decided to make our own fireworks and unleash them by surprise during a bonfire - our 'handlers' went ballistic.

I once caught a chicken and threw it in a friend's tent during camping.
