About Me

I'm from Sichuan, China. I spent 5 years in Tianjin, 2 years in Macau afterwards, then 2 years in Belgium, for my studies. During this period, I travelled here and there, and grew into a travelholic. Now I am back in China to work, and I have stayed in Shanghai for several months with my bf.

I play Chinese zither, ukulele and paint for fun in my free time. Love museums, crazy about food, and have an obsession with collecting bills and coins, and shamefully, as well as magnets from different places.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I was on Couchsurfing to get accommodations and meet ppl when I was travelling in Europe, and I met some amazing hosts and ppl who gave me precise instructions of the city, took me to taste local food, and direct me to hidden attractions, which I appreciated a lot and felt Couchsurfing would always be a better way to enjoy travelling. Now I would like to offer sth to travellers like me when I have the chance.

Music, Movies, and Books

My two favourite directors are Richard Linklater and Wang Kai Wai.
I listen to Iron and Wine, Ben Howard, Lisa Hannigan, Imagine Dragons, Sixto Rodriguez, The Pretty Reckless, Gorillaz...and sometimes classical music.
I'm a fan of Rick and Morty, Bojack Horseman, and lots of Japanese animations.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Encouraged by my bf who completed the Camino de Santiago 4 times, I decided to give it a try. Last summer I did the route from Santiago to Fisterra as an attempt, and walked for 89 kilometres in 3 three days. It was the first time for me to do sth so painful yet fascinating at the same time, and I would definately experience it again on other routes of the Camino someday.
