ABOUT ME

I am a simple guy, quite sporty and a little dreamer.
Sometimes I am a loner, and at other moments I like being with a lot of people, as in the big popular celebrations for example.
I like to pass good time with friends and family, to sing, everywhere (in my flat, in my car, in the street, or sometimes... in a karaoké evening !), and to travel, sometimes in France that is a concentrate of differents kinds of landscapes, and sometimes in foreign country, in which I like discover local customs and culture, and meet local population.
When I travel in summer I like going camping with my tent.
Usally I have a little adventurer mind, I think that it is when we are young and in good health that we may do crazy things and realize our dreams !
Finally, I am not an expert of english language, as most of french people :-) Maybe you have noticed that, but I hope that theses lines are comprehensible ! In the real life I can repeat with other words and do hand gestures to explain what I want to say, but in the Internet it is more difficult to do ;-)

Interests

I like sport in general : I play tennis, I like driving with a bicycle, I like football and my favorite team is of course the RC Lens, the team in the region where I was born, in the north of France !

I like live music too, so I go very often to concert, just a well in little rooms with local performers, as in big rooms or in stadiums with big stars.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like the french popular comedies as "Les bronzés font du ski", "les 3 frères", "Rabbi Jacob".
In foreign cinema, I like "The Good, the Dad and the Ugly", a very long but intense movie ! And the movies with Jim Carrey, who is a very comic actor.

In music, I have a lot of various tastes. I like well-known bands or stars as "Queen", "U2", Johnny Halliday"...
I like other bands like "Ska-P", "Sigur Ros", "Manu Chao", "Fool's Gold", "Beirut", "Les Cowboys fringants", "Bon Iver" and french bands as "Les Blaireaux", "Pat Bol", "Les Ogres de Barback", "Marcel et son orchestre"...
Finally I like listening old french songs too, for example from singers as "Daniel Balavoine", "Georges Brassens", "Jacques Brel", it is an other style !

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The following day of my 20th birthday, I took part in a race of bicycle in the french Alpen, that is called "la Marmotte". It is a big popular race, and open to all, but very hard, with passes that are among the hardest of the "Tour de France". The weather was horrible : rain, cold. Finally I succeeded in doing the little route, 161 km in 11 hours and 15 minutes ! I was exhausted but happy to have been at the end of my physical and mental strength.

And I traveled alone in Iceland in June 2009 by bus, stop, boat, plane, bicycle and foot. It was a great experience, I saw fantastic landscapes and I met a lot of persons who come from differents countries, a lot of great moments
