I don't have "favourite" book, but I'm usually advising "Sex at dawn" to most of the people I meet.
Although, I found Harry Potter to be quite amusing when I was younger =)
I guess, I would have liked some classics like Vonnegut / Kafka / whatever, but I guess I don't need yet another reminder that our world is far from perfect; that's why I don't read much fiction – not proud of it though.

My favourite movie is "In Bruges";
