I want to make people sing, laugh, smile, and generaly add to their adventure in a postive way.

ABOUT ME

I am a folk musician and songwriter. I love to perform and do often. I also enjoy the production of recorded music.
I am an active person having finished 2 ironman triathlons and 11 marathons in my past. In 2010, I suffered a spinal cord injury and now struggle to walk, using a cane and leg brace. Occasionally I will use a wheel chair, but hope toavoid using it as my primary form of ambulation. I have returned to my active lifestyle as a handcyclist, and plan to do my first marathon with it next spring. I have also participated as a swimmer in triathlon relays since my disability.

I consider myself to be spiritually focused and lean toward Buddhist studies. I love to write and be present in each moment......I do enjoy a good time, and can have a lot of fun at a party. I rarely let it get out of hand, and when I do it is by design.
I love being alive.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have stayed in to CS homes and had a great experiance with both. I am open to hosting others. I have a futon couch available in a great part of town. I live on a bus line near Case and the local museums. My apartment building houses one of Cleveland's best veg restaurants.

Lately I have enjoyed Heidi Talbots music. I love folk music in general, as well as jazz and some rock.....Movies, i am open to a lot of titles. I recently loved the Parking Lot Movie. ...The current books I am reading include Life by Keith Richards and Outliers by Malcome Gladwell.

I have finished 2 ironman races. The accomplishment for me was physical, spiritual, and mental. My first one was in Sherborne, Dorsett UK. It was a great experience. Being joined by my best friends and coworkers made it a really unforgettable experience.....I also woke up this morning.....I think that was a big deal.

Determination and patience are my best assets.they are qualities that have come with a lot of work and suffering at times. My personal revelation was when I came to understand how fruitles panic was in my life.
