About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Find a flat in Bogota!

ABOUT ME

I like to travel, but I don't like superficial travels. When I go in a country it is to participate in the social life of this country and to meet local people.
I was brought up in France but worked for 3 years in England, and almost 3 years in Japan.
Since December 31st 2009, I live in Bogota.
Ok, now that I've talked about the boring stuff, let's talk about my personality (to get really boring):
I am very messy but organized (makes sense?),
I prefer cats to dogs... Dogs are often submissive, while cats have more "honest" feelings,
I can do rubik's cube pretty fast (5x5 as well!),
I don't like crowds,
Oh, and I can't eat fibres! So I have to avoid fruits and vegetables. I miss raspberries...

PHILOSOPHY

I live because it is the only thing I can do before I die.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I host people when possible. I also like to show people around and make them meet local friends.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I just need a long enough surface to sleep. I prefer freestyle to very precise plans. I like not to know what tomorrow will be made of.

Interests

I am interested in other people's dreams.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies:
"Ma vie en l'air", "Oldboy", "Nausicaa" (And most of Hayao Miyazaki's works).

Music:
Muse, Classical music (especially Rachmaninov), Michel Berger, 由美まつとや, テレサ テン

Books:
The remains of the day, Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are dead, ... not that much of a reader though.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Slept alone in a forest without a tent or anything. Saw a night rainbow.
After 3 attempts managed to watch Titanic till the end (fell asleep the 2 other times).

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you how to finish a rubik's cube... exciting isn't it! ;)
