ABOUT ME

I'm outgoing and easy-going personalities. I love meeting new people and explore new things, learning and traveling :)

I used to live in England for over 1 year in order to purse an master's degree in Education. I have been 10 countries so far. All of my experiences have grown as a person because many people who I met always broad my viewpoints. The more I talk with people, the more I learn many things which I can't notice. That's why I love meeting new people and talking with them.

Also, if you like to learn Japanese, we can talk Japanese since I used to volunteer teaching Japanese to Canadians in Canada and overseas students from other counties in Japan.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have never had couchsurfing experience via this site, but I hosted English speakers before. Despite I live in Hyogo for a long time, I found so many new things. Also, talking with people always widen my perspectives and every time I learn something from people.

Interests

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When I stayed Canada for four months with local people, my host family treated very well. They always took me to good places in Canada, shared amazing food everyday. The most impressive thing was to spend Christmas time in Canada! We have Christmas, but it is not Western way. We usually hang out with friends or their boyfriend or girlfriend. Although we spend time with family in New Years, we don't do in Christmas.

That experience was very memorial for me as it would be hard to have such a nice Christmas in Japan! If you come to my place, I will try to do my best and we can create the best day together!!!!

Teach, Learn, Share

Since I love learning Japanese culture so much, maybe I can share my cultures with you.
For example, some Japanese people believe 'blood type' and 'personality' are related with each other.
That's why some Japanese people ask people, 'What is your blood type?' in everyday conversation. It's very normal for us.
I personally don't believe this story, but some people just enjoy talking about it in a casual way.
I think this example is typically cultural thing and can share a lot of funny stories with you and want to learn many things from you!

Also, if you are interested in tea ceremony, we can go to Kyoto together. We can experience authentic tea ceremony in Kyoto.

Also, I used to be a member of Japanese flower arrangement club, I can show pictures of my past arts and we can try flower arrangement if you like.

Since I love cooking (I used to work at restaurant), I want to learn from your representative food hopefully. We can share our home-cooking with each other.
