ABOUT ME

I am a currently a student and intern every summer. I have been in a different state for these internships-WA, CA, FL, and NY. During my free time, I love visiting new restaurants, hiking, and enjoying a good beer.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've couchsurfed multiple times in California, Florida, New York and Oregon. Have yet to host anyone, but looking forward to it!

Interests

I had the good fortune to get introduced to the game of golf at the age of 10. I've been living, breathing, and loving it every since! I've had an active junior golf career and am currently playing Division 1 collegiate golf. If I'm not at the golf course or range practicing, you can usually find me on my laptop, reading a good mystery book, watching movies, on my laptop, or listening to music. The only thing that I wish was that I had more time (and frankly, money) to travel more. I've always wanted to take a month or two off and backpack through Europe.

I listen to all kinds of music with the exception of country and heavy metal. Some of my favorite groups are Miike Snow, Band of Horses, Young the Giant, Bon Iver, Cage the Elephant, The Black Keys, Fleet Foxes, Pretty Lights, Grizzly Bear, The Tallest Man on Earth, M83, RHCP, Grouplove, Iron and Wine, Sublime, MGMT, The Postal Service, Radiohead, Rattat, Santigold, Explosions in the Sky, John Butler, Kid Cudi, The Shins, Silversun Pickups, The Temper Trap, Two Door Cinema Club, Vampire Weekend....list goes on and on

My favorite authors are James Patterson, Nick Hornby, John Green, and Dr. Seuss.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I had the pleasure of traveling to Hawaii (four times!) for golf tournaments. Actually being there and being able to see all those beaches and sunsets that I had only seen in movies and postcards was awesome.

We went paddle boarding on the intercoastal in FL. The big waves made me fall a couple times, but I went right over a gigantic manatee and saw a huge turtle which was pretty cool!
