I am a theatre practitioner living with my partner in New Delhi & Bombay...specialising in Object Theatre & puppetry. I'm pretty easygoing, love eating out, enjoy the occasional movie, get along very well with all kinds of people...enjoy a good conversation...I would say i like to live and travel light.

Have couch-surfed many times before, both hosting and being hosted. Have made some amazing friends becasue of it. Continue to look forward to meeting interesting people who love to travel also...

Puppetry and theatre of objects. Love to watch films, cook occasionally, read a lot, hum, enjoy walking...have a special passion for getting lost in new places.
Love animation, graphics...can't do them. Just love watching them.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies - i indiscriminately watch pretty much everything. Doesn't mean i like everything i see though. Love fantasy films Love animation!
I'm very musical, love to sing and listen. like indian ; world ; folk music.
I always read 3-4 book simultaneously, Currently reading 3 books on the doll-arts of India and folk-lores of West Bengal.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Travelled around the forests of Bastar (in the state of Chhattisgarh, central india) for 15 days, living inside the forests with tribal communities in their huts, with no electricity and often no toilets. Watched their dances, tried to sing with them, learnt their language (very difficult!), ate with them, slept in utterly dark mud huts surrounded by sounds of the forest - magical!
Travelled through rural West Bengal & Sunderbans, living on boats for days.
And also paraglided once.

Can teach you some Indian folk songs! Can teach you how to build a puppet ...how to cook some Bengali food...
