Music, Movies, and Books

Movies - i am a buff and indiscriminately watch pretty much everything. Doesn't mean i like everything i see though. Love fantasy films - Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus is an all time favourite; Love animation - Miyazaki in God!
i'm very musical, love to sing and listen. like indian & world & folk music, liked Beirut very much. LOVE Indian folk music.
currently reading Che Guevara's biography as a graphic novel by Spain Roderiguez, Fantasy stories compiled by Diana Wynne Jones and Lust for Life again.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Travelled around the forests of Bastar (in the state of Chhattisgarh, central india) for 15 days, living inside the forests with tribal communities in their huts, with no electricity and often no toilets. Watched their dances, tried to sing with them, lernt their language (very difficult!), ate with them, slept in utterly dark mud huts surrounded by sounds of the forest - magical!

Teach, Learn, Share

Can teach you some Indian folk songs! Can teach you how to build a puppet (though i'm no expert myself)...how to cook some Bengali food...

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, France, Germany, Malaysia, Oman, South Korea, Sri Lanka, Switzerland, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom, United States
