Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've couchsurfed once in Switzerland and once hosted a couple of German girls. Both times I had great fun and learnt a lot!!

Interests

My wife and I love traveling and do it very often. My traveling also includes multi-day solo bike trips as I have more holidays than the Mrs. I used to be a triathlete but discovered that randonneuring is much more gratifying, so I now train for that. I also run a lot and enjoy racing, and sometimes miss the swim. Often I'm reading 3 or 4 books at a time as I tend to be distracted. And of course I absolutely love booze.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I'm lucky to see the Andes everywhere I go as I think it's pretty amazing. I've crossed it on my bike on the way to Argentina, btw. Was lucky to see the Taj Mahal once and even luckier to have visited Sweden when I was single!

Teach, Learn, Share

TEACH: I can teach Spanish in a couple of foreign languages; finance.
LEARN: I'd really like to perfect my French and get started with Deutsch.
SHARE: I might enjoy some company during my bike trips.
