I'm a Buddhist, avid gardener, longtime anti-racist activist (since the 80s), member of Food Not Bombs, and LGBT rights activist always eager to help out with projects. I'm an AIDS activist, worked with ACT UP back in the day. I'm also an animal lover, I've worked with exotic birds, reptiles and big cats. I'm trained as a street medic so I can give first aid to protesters.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Looking to meet new people and get involved in new projects. I'd love to get out and see more of the world in a year or two.

Teach, Learn, Share

We cook a meal for like 100 people each Sunday, so the coordination, prep, cooking, serving, and cleanup are all skills I can help impart.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'm eager to help out around the house or garden, I'm happy to do all kinds of stuff and always looking to contribute but I have a bad back so no heavy lifting unfortunately.
