Hi, I’m Qin Chong. I am currently studying Traditional Chinese Medicine in Kunming, Yunnan.

I’m an easy-going and open-minded person who enjoys meeting people from different cultures. Traveling has been an important part of my life—
I’ve been to Ukraine for a month as a volunteer in 2019,
In February 2025 I spent some time living in Nepal.
These experiences gave me a chance to connect with people from different backgrounds and learn more about the world.

Now that I’m based in Kunming, I have my own apartment. If there is space available, I’d be happy to host you on my couch or in a room. If hosting isn’t convenient at the time, I’d still love to meet up, have a chat, and maybe show you around the city.

I enjoy sharing Chinese culture with friends from abroad, and I’m also curious to hear about your stories and perspectives. Looking forward to making new friends through Couchsurfing!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to make friends who can broaden my perspective. Learning about different cultures has always been very interesting to me. When I travel, I don’t just want to see the scenery—I also want to understand the history, traditions, and food of a place. I believe the best way to do this is with the help of local people who can share their city with me. At the same time, I’d love to share my own culture and knowledge in return.
