About Me

CURRENT MISSION

mission statements are for corporations. And banks

ABOUT ME

i live in lovely Kerry. i dinnae take myself seriously. I'm irish, and describing myself in a public (more or less) domain doesn't come naturally. I have a huge curiosity about the world, and an urge to understanding it. I'm not initially fall-all-around-the-place, in-your-face friendly, but i am genuinely interested in people from all parts. Self-effacing is the phrase. Less so when you get to know me mind you. I like people, and love the idea of the site, encouraging people to connect with those they might not otherwise.

PHILOSOPHY

do unto others.....

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

sailed from Kerry to Norway via the Faeroe Islands last summer. Gives one an interesting perspective.

looking out of a plane window from 30,000ft occasionally has become a bit taken for granted dont you think?

seen some of the tallest trees on the planet - mountain ash (Eucalyptus regnans) in lovely Tasmania.

which is not to overlook the wonder in a tiny ash sapling

Teach, Learn, Share

I can share tips on underwater bear-wrestling. Finding a bear can be the trickiest part.
