I'm 44 years old man living in Seoul Korea.
I joined here because I wanted to provide a place where various people traveling in Korea can stay.

My house is an apartment near Gwangheungchang Station on Subway Line 6.
It's a house where I, my wife and my 9 year old son live, and I can provide a single room for about two days, usually Friday night and Saturday night. My house is a great place to walk around with Hongdae, Sangsu-dong, and Yeonnam-dong, which are the hipest neighborhoods in Seoul.
It's not delicious, but I'll also offer you a free breakfast if you want :)

I can also take you to nice places in Seoul with my family in my car. (As long as it's not uncomfortable for you to go around with a 9-year-old! But my son is a very good friend to travel with!)

I don't intend to explain Korea to you in a grand way.
If you are just curious about the life of a normal korean family, it would not be bad to come to my house.
If you want to go for a walk around the house with my family and chill while eating korean style chicken,
I'd be very welcome.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My wife has worked as a flight attendant for a Korean Airlines for about 10 years and has been to almost every country in the world. Thanks to my wife, I was able to travel to many foreign countries. I can't forget the warm hearts of people I met. We want to return the warm hearts we received from all over the world to foreigners visiting Korea.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like electronica music, and my favorite musicians are Alan braxe, The chemical brothers, Fatboyslim, Garbage, Justice, Breakbot etc. And recently I've been listening to a lot of music such as PREP, Remi Wolf, LANY, HONNE, etc. Especially if you are interested in Korean indie music, we will have a lot of fun experiences.
