Overview
About Me
My name is Aleksandra from Poland, currently living and working in Germany. I have been travelling around for 8 years now (let's forget this short stop that I amed for my studies in Warsaw ;) and since my first big journey I know this is what I want to do and what I will be doing for many years still. I love learning new things, specially languages. And I adore when something excites me so much I can spend my whole live just doing this thing.
I love animals and specially my cat Humphrey. I wish he could say the same about me though ;)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Beacuse it is a great place for an exchange: of ideas, experiences and yes, couches as well. It is one of those web portals when you are not afraid to talk to the stranger, cause in a way Couchsurfing creates a community of open minded people, who just give to each other what they can. I find that pretty exciting.
Interests
Are pretty basic and standart I guess. Except all the obvious things like reading (I am a very big fan of fantasy books, especially polish ones. But what is very weird about it, it doesn"t make me a nerd at all) music (I love as much Black Sabbath as Lana del Rey, which some people can see as a lack of taste but I would rather say, that different artists touch my soul suring different types of my mood) and shopping (I wish you could all see my high heels collection) I also enjoy playing instruments like piano or drums and recently I have discoered the beauty of running.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Just one seriously?? :P No but really....I am pretty proud of myself that I taught myself German in half a year. I wish the magic will come back when I finally decide which is going to be my next language.
Teach, Learn, Share
Yes, I want to believe that it is something that never ends. As long as we learn new things and as long as we bother to share good things that happen to us with others, than we are still worthy of going around on this planet.
What I Can Share with Hosts
My crazy, speciphic sense of humour, some good beer, a lot of laughs and a lot of funny stories. Seriously, it is worthy to be my host just to hear, when this one time I was taking the train to Fuerstenweld...
