About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To visit as many places as I can

ABOUT ME

I've been living in several different places in the world that it sometimes makes me think how I should answer to the question, "Where are you from?"
The countries I've lived in are listed below, but I've lived most of my life in New York. Right now, since last November, I've been living in South Korea, studying for GMAT and preparing for grad school.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've hosted once when I used to live in New York. The guest was from Taiwan, and she stayed with me for 10 days! We still talk often and keep in touch.
I've couchsurfed only once so far in Strasbourg, and I plan on doing more of it. I can't wait to meet the people I haven't met yet.

Music, Movies, and Books

Stanley Kubrick is my absolute favorite. British humor is brilliant. Dark humor is my favorite. I don't watch much TV, but among the shows I've seen, I like British shows mostly.

music: i LOVE Nine Inch Nails, Pink Floyd, Kraftwerk, and Damien Rice, among many other artists i listen to

books: Murakami books are always a great read. Lately, I've been reading Nietzsche's works.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

interning for Cannes Film Festival Critics' Week
spending the night at the Keflavik Airport
New York to Chicago by train= 20 hours
Hiking every weekend in Colombia

Teach, Learn, Share

I love learning in general, whether it's acquiring knowledge or learning a skill. Language learning is especially a hobby of mine, as well as a big passion. Everyone always has something to offer, and I like gaining a unique perspective of each individual I come across, even just through having a conversation.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Language exchange, anyone? :)
