ABOUT ME

My friends describe me as a kind, funny, friendly, talkative, a bit crazy and outgoing person whom others wouldn't find it difficult to get along with. Just like my names(both English and Chinese ones), they all mean SUNNY because my parents want me to be always optimistic, positive and bright like the sunshine! I guess maybe that's the reason why I love LAUGHING SO MUCH!!! Besides, I love SUNSET, kids, and animals as well! Anyways, you can find out what kinda person I am as we meet.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I had slept on a couch in my pen pals home for five days in New Jersey! (But didnt meet my pen pal on CS.) They took me to some good restaurants, their Italian style family reunion and also Yankees game. That's a fantastic experience because I not only got involved in the real local family's life that differs from the vision which could be seen as a tourist, but also built up the friendship with them!!! I would love to host people sometimes as well!

Musik, Filme und Bücher

I love all kinds of movies, but prefer comedy the most recently! My favorite movies are Catch Me If You Can, Life Is Beautiful, Three Idiots and etc. For music, I listen to any kinda music, such as indie rock, jazz and pop(especially when I was back from the states) I like detective novels and some inspiring ones! But mostly, I love reading newspaper!

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

- Done an international volunteer work camp project in the states to introduce Taiwanese cultures to the refugee(e.g. teaching them how to make pearl milk tea), and met my international family there!!!

- Won the second award of a competition of "making a special NYC travel plan&task" on a website, which helped me get 8 days accommodation in a luxury apartment for free in downtown Brooklyn. And my plan was to get some free hugs from ppl in the USA. I got more than 50 free hugs from ppl who have helped me or from whom I had some random, nice talk there with my little free hug poster. Challenged myself to become less shy and proved to some of my family members and friends that American ppl are NICE! (Indeed, they ARE :D)

- Volunteering in east village, Manhattan, delivering well-prepared food to the homeless with a group of kind local people was the most meaningful experience I've had in New York City! Cant never forget their pleasant smiles as they got the tasty banana cake :)

- GOT A LAP DANCE in Montreal lol

I want to broaden my horizons as there is a saying people who travel a lot know much. About the things I can teach you, I would say Chinese, or Taiwanese language, culture or whatever you would like to know from me!
