Overview
About Me
I am a coder, photographer, traveler and avid reader with a strong interest in music and cinema.
I enjoy meeting people, connecting with different cultures, learning from others, sharing my experiences and traveling.
I am fascinated by the universe and love everything that is visual. I pay a lot of attention to details and try to find happiness in simple little things.
I appreciate the smell of coffee in the morning, the way hair looks underwater, when my food arrive earlier the way I thought it would, when it rains for the first time after a long summer, the sound when I open a sealed bottle of water, opening a brand new book, making a perfect signature, holding doors for strangers (who say thanks), having a blank to-do list, looking through old photographs, the originality of people's handwriting, the smell after it rains, driving on an empty road, looking at the water droplets travel across my car window, stars/ocean gazing, when a friendly stranger smiles at me, the cold side of the pillow, when I finally remember what I came into the room for, the first snowfall of the winter, writing/drawing on foggy windows, getting to the crosswalk right as the "walk" sign lights up, the soft feeling of a brand-new eraser, the sound of a perfect high-five, a new toothbrush, not being able to finish a sentence because I'm laughing so hard about the ending, scented candles, seeing my breath on cold days, falling asleep to the sound of rain, hearing someone whistle, when the lights start to dim before a movie, walking barefoot on grass, the moment when I find a comfortable sleeping position, the brief moment of silent when I drive under a bridge on a rainy day, accomplishing something before the microwave beeps, seeing bus drivers wave at each other, the feeling I get after I sneeze, the sound of crickets at night, the sound of the ocean, the feeling after watching a really good movie, when I see my luggage at the baggage claim at the airport, drawing a straight line freehand, sleeping on freshly washed sheets, the feel of wearing new socks, the sound a tennis ball makes when it hits the net, the smoke when I blow out a candle, the originality of WiFi passwords, starring for a few seconds at a flying bird, the shapes a naked tree creates with its branches, seeing and hearing a coin turn on itself right before it stops, the sound of dominoes falling over, sticking my hand all the way down in a bag of seeds and moving my fingers, skimming stones on water, hot chocolate on a snowy day, drinking water to quench thirst, the sweetness of a loved one's face, the sound of snow crunching under my feet, spanish guitar, friendly cashiers, opening shampoo bottles and smelling it, washed clothes when traveling, cutting vegetables or fruits with a very sharp knife, cutting an avocado in half to find out it's perfectly green.

PHILOSOPHY
It's not what happens to you, but how you react to it that matters. The obstacle is the way so stay positive.
Quiet the mind and the soul will speak.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I am almost always willing to host people at my place. Connecting with wanderers is rewarding on many levels, and human interaction is something I have always been very interested in.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
One of my first Couchsurfing experiences was in Combodia. I sent a request to a couple living in Phnom Penh, they were going to be away when I was planning on arriving so they left their house keys with the doorman and I had the place for myself for a couple of days. I never met them. This was very eye-opening and led me to do the same in Montreal. I've been hosting people since 2012 and every experience has been beautiful. The unpredictably of it is what makes it unique and the relationship you build with travellers is always powerful (even if you don't end up meeting them).
