Overview
About Me
Important: We now live in Sežana (Kras region) and we can host you in our flat. One of us is also driving every work day to Ljubljana (work), so if you need a ride from/to there, it’s not a problem.
I’m a physicist by education. I work in Marketing. I love to work on our little farm/winery (Kraška klet Krstan - we produce wine, apricots, olives and amazing cherries). I’m an active member of a local association ŠKRD Na placu where we organize several events every year (including carnival and Gin&Brin festival). I love hikes, nature, unexplored places, board games and all crazy little ideas that make the day to remeber. I live with my partner who’s also a musician (plays guitar and spoons ).
I’m also a sommelier (1st degree but going for a 2nd this autumns) and Spirit Academy graduate.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
When I travel I prefer hitchhiking and staying with locals and not to male any big plans in advance. I think it’s the only way to really get to know the region you’re staying at. Also, I’m always glad if one of my hosts decides to visit Slovenia and I very gladly show them around.

Music, Movies, and Books
Movies: from classics to sci-fi to dramas that linger with you for days (think Nolan, Aronofsky and such).
Music: Pink Floyd, Wacky Blues Professors, Jimi, The Doors, Ansambl Ikebana,... Anything that fits the moment.
Books: A Song of Ice and Fire, Unbearable Lightness of Being,, The Picture of Dorian Gray, JK Rowling's you-know-what, Dune. Oh and Bronstein's Handbook of Mathematics - because it's a life saver :) I don’t however read nearly as much as I used to.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Organizing Gin&Brin festival!
